Dr Sandy Clyne
If you’d like to know more about me, you’ll find my background and personal story below.
Background
I have a PhD in organisation psychology from Manchester university. Most of my professional life has focused on management development within organisations and businesses.
Following an initial fascination with the question:
“What makes the difference between organisations succeeding and failing?”
I’ve explored this question throughout my career, working in Business Schools, training and development departments, in both the private and public sectors.
More recently, as an advisor to small businesses, I became aware of the struggles people experience in order to Get Life Organised at home and at work.
Sandy’s Personal Story : Because Accidents Happen!
As a freelance business psychologist, the home office is the center of my professional life and being organised is essential!
Due to brain damage from a head injury, I lost the ability to organise anything! The effects of the accident turned my office into a nightmare of chaos and disorganisation.
As I recovered, I created, or perhaps re-created, ways to become more organised, so I could continue with my work.
Of course I wasn’t unique in having problems with an untidy home office. The increased spread of the home office as the most common place to work, has led to the world becoming full of hidden away offices in a constant muddle.
Whoever you are, whatever your focus, if you use part of your home as an office, you can learn how to organise your home office for success.
What makes the difference between organisations succeeding and failing?
